Areas of Research Interests:

Her main research interests lie in intelligent information processing, information security, detection technology, and applications of embedded technology. The research mainly includes three aspects:

(1) Theoretical research: She focuses on time-frequency analysis and wavelet analysis of signals, pattern recognition, classification theories based on neural networks and support vector machines, data mining, and intelligent data processing methods.

(2) Applied research: She applies theories to target detection and classification, image edge detection, texture feature extraction from SAR images, compression and coding of audio and video signals, application of information extraction and processing technology in fault diagnosis, and multi-information fusion technology.

(3) Interdisciplinary integration: She combines information processing with communication and network information security, particularly focusing on network information security of IPv6, the next-generation Internet Protocol. She also applies mass data mining technology to security auditing, security event detection, and traffic analysis.

Educational Background:

1982: Graduated from Northwest Telecommunication Engineering Institute (now Xidian University) with a bachelor's degree in radar signal processing

1988: Obtained a Master of Engineering degree from Xidian University

1998-1999: Visiting scholar at Shizuoka University, Japan

Awards and Honors:

In 2024, she won the title of National Model Teacher and the grand prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award (as a project participant).

In 2023, she won the first prize of the National Teaching Achievement Award.

In 2021, the textbook she edited won the first prize for undergraduate education in the Excellent Teaching Materials Award for Regular Higher Educational Institutions in Shaanxi Province.

In 2020, the course she presided over was approved as a national first-class undergraduate course.

In 2018, she won the second prize of the Technological Invention Award of the Ministry of Education

In 2008, she won the title of Famous Teacher at the 4th Famous Teachers Award of Xidian University
