Detection Guidance and Control Technology

click:   time:Mar 4, 2025

a. Introduction:

In this program, we adhere to the principles of "wide coverage, solid foundation, emphasis on practice, and pursuit of innovation" for talent development. According to national needs in aerospace, electronic information, and detection, we prioritize the coordinated development of knowledge, skills, and qualities through outcomes-based education (OBE). This program, relying on XDU's strengths in electronic information and featuring "target and environment detection and navigation", focuses on professional knowledge in electronics, information, navigation, detection, and guidance control. We are dedicated to developing students' scientific thinking, systematic analysis, and practical skills, while continually advancing the program's structure. The goal is to cultivate senior engineering technicians or industry leaders equipped with theoretical knowledge in target and environment detection, navigation, and guidance control, alongside robust engineering practice skills.

This program began enrolling students in 2000 and was designated a characteristic program in Shaanxi Province in 2011. In 2017, it was recognized as a first-class program in the province and, in 2019, it was selected for the MOE's "Double Ten Thousand Plan," which aims to establish 10,000 first-class undergraduate courses at national level and 10,000 courses at provincial level. It is now recognized as a national first-class undergraduate program construction site.

Graduates of this program may pursue careers in system design, technology development, product R&D, experimental testing, and science and technology management within companies or public institutions specializing in electronics, information, aerospace, and the weapons industry. Additionally, they have the option to continue their postgraduate studies in disciplines such as Control Science and Engineering, Information and Communication Engineering, Electronic Science and Technology, Aerospace Engineering, and Electronic Information.
