Areas of Research Interests:

His main research interests lie in measurement, control and communication technology for near-space vehicles, as well as unmanned systems and intelligent control technology. The main focuses include:

(1) Near-space vehicle measurement and control technology;

(2) Space-based non-contact power transmission technology;

(3) Ground experimental technology for space applications;

(4) Space-based unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) cluster system;

(5) UAV and HarmonyOS.

Awards and Honors:

LIU Yanming, Executive Dean of the School of Aerospace Science and Technology, has been engaged for many years in the fields of space measurement, control and communication and networks, space physical environment, and deep space exploration. He mainly presides over the University's first project supported by the Special Fund for Research on National Major Research Instruments of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). He has won a first prize and a second prize in provincial and ministerial technological invention awards, as well as the first prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award in Shaanxi Province, among other honors. He has rich experience in managing national key projects and leading team efforts. He has successively served as the deputy director of the Professional Committee on Telemetry, Remote Sensing and Remote Control of the Chinese Association of Automation, a member of the Professional Committee on Space Laser and Terahertz of the Chinese Society of Astronautics, and a council member of the Xi'an Society of Inertial Technology.
