Zhou Suiping is currently a distinguished professor at Xidian University. He has long been engaged in the research of flight vehicle control, flight simulation, and distributed high-performance simulation and computing. He once served as a postdoctoral researcher in the Mathematics Department at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, and taught for nearly 20 years at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore as well as Teesside University and Middlesex University in the UK. Before returning to China, he held the position of tenured professor in the Department of Computer Science at Middlesex University. He has served as a member of the Council of Professors and Heads of Computing in the UK. He has published over 140 academic papers in international authoritative journals and academic conferences, with more than 70 papers indexed by SCI. He has been nominated for the Best Paper Award at the ACM SIGSIM PADS 2006 and IEEE DS-RT 2007. He has organized over 50 international academic conferences as an associate chair of the program committee, session chair, and member of the program committee, and has been invited to serve as a reviewer for many prestigious international journals.
