Awards and Honors:
BAI Bowen, Professor at the School of Aerospace Science and Technology, Xidian University, is a distinguished professor of the Huashan Scholar Program, doctoral supervisor, and Youth Science and Technology Star of Shaanxi Province. He is also a member of the Professional Committee on Autonomous Operation Technology of Space Unmanned Systems of the Chinese Association of Automation and a young editorial board member of the Journal of Telemetry, Tracking and Command.
Since 2010, he has been engaged in the research of information technology for high-speed vehicles, conducting in-depth research in areas such as intelligent perception and information processing for aerospace targets, countermeasure electromagnetic stealth technology for aerospace targets, and characteristics and intelligent detection methods for high-speed space targets.
As a principal investigator, he has presided over two key projects of national ministries and commissions (with funds of RMB 7 million and RMB 10 million, respectively), a key project (RMB 3 million), a general project, and a Young Scientists Fund project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), a general project of the Shaanxi Natural Science Basic Research Program, and a project of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, as well as over 10 collaborative scientific research projects. He also participated as a core technician in the National Basic Research Program (973 Program) project "Theory and Method of Reliable Information Transmission Through Plasma Sheath in Near Space", winning the second prize of the Technological Invention Award of the Ministry of Education.
He has published over 30 SCI-indexed papers in high-level journals such as IEEE Transactions on Plasma Science, IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, and Physics of Plasmas. He serves as a reviewer for several domestic and international journals and holds more than 10 national invention patents.
